In this project students constructed objects through their formal breakdown into planes to create the structure and its envelope, or the ‘skin and bones’. The aim was to understand the basics of deconstruction and construction and to introduce parametric design, while developing a deeper level of understanding form and volume. The project also introduced students to digital modeling and to the cross over between design disciplines.
